We have setup a dual protocol volume using azure netapp files. After setup, we are having some issues regarding permissions. - ANF is connected to our AD - Volume security is set to UNIX When we create a folder on linux the folder gets the user/group added. When you try and access that same folder from windows you get access denied, even if you were the one to create the folder. The only way to get access is to set the folder to 777. Also when we create a folder on the windows side the unix permissions shows as NFSNOBODY, however it is open to anyone. Maybe this is a LDAP issue, but we haven't been able to pin point what the exact issue is.

Hi, Hope you are doing well! Can we integrate NetApp Astra to the LDAP/Windows AD, which will enable domain users to login to the Astra Control Center instead of using the local username? I don't see AD integration based on the architecture diagram (URL): https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/astra-control-center/concepts/architecture.html Wondering if the future version has the AD integration feature? Thanks, Anantha

Hello people just a quick question about the daily schedule of backups for Cloud Backup service. It is not clear within the documentation https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/occm/task_managing_backups.html#viewing-the-volumes-that-are-being-backed-up so here lies the question. "Changing the schedule and backup retention. The default policy backs up volumes every day and retains the most recent 30 backup copies of each volume. You can change to a combination of hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly backups and you can change the number of backup copies to retain. You can also select one of the system-defined policies that provide scheduled backups for 3 months, 1 year, and 7 years...." is there a way to change the time to start the daily scheduled backup? or it has to begin at 00:00:000? Thanks in advance Best Regards
