Hi pdeshaye.

Efter some tests ,now I knew what my problem is . The reason  why SMO(for my problem, only) cannnot create a profile is that data files and Oracle_Home are on the same volumes/disk. After seperating them into different volumes/disks it does work perfectly.

Vol1/disk1 controlfiles ,redolog files

Vol2/disk2 archivelog files

Vol3/disk3 datafiles

Vol4/disk4 ORACLE_HOME
