Difference between SnapProtect (SP) and NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup (NSB)?

Would appreciate if you could help me with understanding the differences between SnapProtect (SP) and NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup (NSB)? where SP and NSB can be the best fit?

A basic rule of thumb...

If the data you are protecting resides on NetApp storage, then SnapProtect (Simpana) might be a good fit.

If the data you are protecting does NOT reside on NetApp storage (and you want to protect it on NetApp storage), then NSB might be a good fit.
