%MSG seems to not work with SnapCreator 4.0P1 on linux

Hi, I've a problem to make the %MSG work with sendtrap.

This is a simple configuration, it seems that %MSG is not working either with SENDTRAP that with SUCCESS_TRAP

SUCCESS_MSG=SUCCESS

NTAP_ASUP_ERROR_ENABLE=N

SENDTRAP=/bin/echo ERROR %CONFDIR %CONFNAME %SNAP_TYPE %ACTION %SNAME %SNAP_TIME - %MSG - %SUCCESS_MSG

SUCCESS_TRAP=/bin/echo OK %CONFDIR %CONFNAME %SNAP_TYPE %ACTION %SNAME %SNAP_TIME - %MSG - %SUCCESS_MSG

%MSG is just reporting the string "MSG"

This is an example with a backup error:

Dear Francesco,

I am afraid, this is a bug.

I was able to reproduce this in the lab.

I will request the developers to take a look at this and get back to you in couple of days.

If you want to track this using a support case, I would recommend register a NetApp support case.

Hello Bane,

Last I remember is this has been fixed (but with few limitations around what variables can be passed).

Let me check this in the lab real quick and get back to you.

I have received your scdump from the other thread, and will look into that shortly.
