Required vCenter user rights for VMware backup?

Hi

When configuring a backup job for VMware a vCenter user is requried.

I would like to create a specific user in VMware for Snap Creator backups. However, I'm unable to find a list of required (minimum) rights within VMware.

Could anyone help by specifying the required VMware rights or perhaps link to relevant documentation on this topic?

Software being used:

- vCenter 5.1

- Snap Creator 4.1.0.c

The procedure you're linking to looks like a general procedure for creating users in VMware.

I'm looking for the actual permissions required by a SnapCreator backup user. Do you know where to find a list of these permissions?
