On one of our SQL Servers that runs SnapCenter, the SMCore logs haven't deleted since last August and are now using up tons of space on the C drive. A Google search turned up the following KB, which was apparently written in early January 2024, but it doesn't exist anymore:
Does anyone know what was in this KB previously and/or know the resolution to the problem?

Excellent, thank you @NTAp-AVS ! As luck would have it, we were already planning on an upgrade later today to 5.0. First I have to resolve problems resulting from upgrading the VMware plug-in, but once those are resolved I'll upgrade and the issue should be resolved. Thanks!

Thank you, yes that's the version I upgraded to @NTAp-AVS . Unfortunately it has somehow lost credentials for our DR target system after the upgrade and I can't seem to add them back. Working on it now.

FYI I opened a case for the plug-in issues. It loses connectivity to vcenter on each reboot and I have to re-enter creds, plus it's lost the ability to auth to the DR system completely. Having numerous issues after upgrading this plug-in is unfortunately pretty standard in my experience - it very rarely 'just works'.
Regardless of all that, after we get the issues resolved I'll upgrade the main SC product to resolve the log issues. Thanks again for the help!.
