Hi Guys,

I had recently installed IBM Nsereis 3400 Storage system, and connected one of my AIX machine with the storage box. I have SnapDrive feature available for AIX SEVER.

The FCP-HOST-ATTACH kit and MPIO modules was also successfully installed in the AIX BOX.

The problem appearing when SnapDrive create and/or connect task excuted from AIX hosts.

See the following consequences.

If I would try to create SnapShot of a LUN mapped to AIX vg from SNapDrive command, I recieved following errors.

snapdrive snap create -vg autoline -snapname testautoline

0001-389 Admin error: Cannot get HBA type for HBA assistant genfcp

Wheever I tried to prepare LUN's following  erros is reporting from Snaprive command

# snapdrive config prepare luns -count 32

0001-695 Admin error: Cannot obtain provider information:

When ever I tried to create test lun's and mapp it to my host following error is reporting.

0001-389 Admin error: Cannot get HBA type for HBA assistant genfcp.

However the snapdrive storage show  command ran successfully and giving following result

# snapdrive storage show -all -capabilities
