Has anyone managed to get SnapDrive for Unix installed on a Debian based Linux distro? I know its not one of the supported distros but was wondering if it is possible.

copy /etc/redhat-release from an existing RH machine, SDU looks for the contents of that string before installing.
and check here too:

you could also try to install SDU on RH and copy /opt/NetApp/SDU to your debian box.

Hi,
has someone ever managed to setup SD on a debian based (i.e. Ubuntu Server) distribution?
Thanks!
