SnapManager For SharePoint 2.0 Config

Hi,

We have an environment that has

WFE X 2

APP X 2

SQL X 2

I know the WFE servers need the Control Agent installing on them and the SQL servers need the Member Agent installing on them.

Do the application servers need any agents installing on them.

Hi,

The application server would need member agent installed on them if you wish to back up the SharePoint search indexes. Also please ensure that the search indexes as well as the search database are on NetApp LUNs.
