SnapProtect and Media Agent

HI All,

My quesion is regading installing media agent on standalone server.

I need to backup filesystem on multiple physical windows 2012 server ( C and D drives), Do I have to install media agent on all the servers? While backup I get error media agent not installed.

The second question I have  is will SnapProtect backup physical servers? file system and image level?

Hi,

Yes, You need to install Media Agent. SnapProtect does support file level and image level backups.
