Snapmanager products with NFS connected VMware ESX datastores

Hello,

is there any solution to use e.g. SnapManager for Exchange in an virtualisized environment with NFS connected datastores on ESX Server 3.5?

I think this is only possible with iSCSI or FCP but maybe there is an unknown solution.

You can use NFS volumes as your datastores with no issues to your ESX boxes at all. If you then wanted to use SME then you would have to presend your Luns from your Filer using iSCSI or FCP. The NFS datastore would just house your VM Platform itself. If you were using iSCSI then you would use the MS initator. Hope this Helps
