Anyone run into this issue?  Any help would be great!

Scheduled daily verified backups will not complete, however if run without verification it will complete.

hi,

go to   http://now.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/bol   insert the bug ID 314104.

http://now.netapp.com/NOW/cgi-bin/bol?Type=Detail&Display=314104

Schedule backup and verification operations separately. This problem is
also fixed in SME 4.0P4 and later.

This is a known issue in SME 4.0. You may want to upgrade SME to a newer version. The issue was documented in BURT 314104.

Thanks,

My SME version is 4.0.0.1273, is there a later version of 4.x that corrects this issue? Our customer doesn't want to renew the contract just for this issue so we're limited in troubleshooting. Also, how do I access that 'burt' article/kb (sorry a bit of a newb on this forum)?

BTW if I try to run a verified backup in SME, the dialog box error I receive is:

SnapManager for Exchange

Backup failed

Error Code: 0x800706BA

The RPC Server is unavailable.

Anyone?
