snapmanager 2 virtual infrastructure exchange07 server freezes

We are new netapp customer and have VI SnapManager setup to snap all our vm's once a day. When this happens our exchange server loses network connectivity for about 2 minutes.

Anyone who can assist, i would appreciate it.

There are no specific issues that i see, but the exchange server also has Backup Exec 2010 Windows Agent install for backing up Exchange database. I do see these two in the system event log:

The BeVssProvider service entered the running state.
The Volume Shadow Copy service entered the running state.

Im wondering if the two VSS are conflicting?

I believe this is caused by the VMware VSS writer conflicting with the VSS writer Snapdrive installs (are you using Application SnaMAnagers ? )For those VMs you will need to remove the VMware VSS writer I believe for the SMVI backups to complete error free. You could also open a support case so that NGS can take a look at it to make sure what the issue is.
