two MOSS farms working with the same DB and managment server

Hi,

IHAC asking to implement to different MOSS farms using the same SQL server. Each farm has differant FE servers.

When configuring the manager agent and data member agent, there is room for only one SMMOSS Control Service Address.

Is it possible to configure two different farms?

The control service is related to the SMMOSS manager. Each agent (member or control) needs to get the control service port number of the SMMOSS manager. Hence, in your case you should deploy 1 SMMOSS manager, 2 control agents and 1 member agent. In the agent configuration of each of the 3 agents, mention the port number for the control service as given in the SMMOSS manager configuration tool.
