High-availability nodes manual takeover_giveback using System Manager 3.1


With System Manager 3.1, you can monitor the state and interconnect statuses of the high-availability (HA) pairs in a cluster, as well as perform manual takeover and giveback operations on the nodes in the HA pair.The ability to perform manual takeover and giveback operation is available for clustered Data ONTAP 8.2.1 clusters. This  document illustrates with an example, System Manager 3.1 workflow to perform a manual takeover and giveback operation on one of the nodes in the HA pair in a cluster.
