lanamark can't connect

First of all, I don't know if this is the best community to post this in, but I didn't see a better one. So, if I am wrong, please let me know where would be a better place to post.
I am a prospective Netapp customer and I am trying to use Lanamark so that my SE can recommend a good system that will meet my needs. I ahve it installed and it is talking to my vmware hosts, but I have a SQL server that it won't connect to. I know that I am giving it good passwords, but it doesn't seem to want to go through.
When I try to discover, it it keeps going from Discovery OK to Inventory Queued to Inventory Failed.
I am sure it is some kind of service or setting on the "target", but I don't know what it is. Can anyone help me with this? Just some suggestions for things to check on would be great.

This forum is for OnCommand Manageability tools and specifically for OnCommand Performance Manager.
I am not sure if any member here would be able to answer your question.
