hi folks

i'm trying to use active directory for  authentication, but if i set the ldap server to  ldap:///    as per the docs, it won't let me in.

looking at the logs it seems to be trying to connect to localhost:389  - but getting connection refused.  i don't think there's a service running on that port

is there anything i have to /enable/ to have this working on windows server 2008r2 ?

Hi Peter,

Sounds like Active Directory may not be running on the same host as WFA.  If not, you need to point WFA to one of the domain controllers with ldap://<dc_host_name>

Hope this helps,

Dave
