Post the first four lines of the 'dfm diag' output ton confirm that you did not install Express.

OnCommand Core 5.0 Express has no mechanism to enable Performance Advisor.  Standard does contain the Performance Advisor features.

Hi,

It seems that performance advisor is not enabled in your setup. Please use the below command to enable the performance advisor.

[root@lnx186-77 ~]# dfm option set perfAdvisorEnabled=Enabled

Changed performance advisor enabled to Enabled.

[root@lnx186-77 ~]# dfm option list perfAdvisorEnabled

Option            Value

------------------ ------------------------------

perfAdvisorEnabled Enabled

[root@lnx186-77 ~]#

And, to get the perf data of storage system you need to set thecredential of the storage system.

Please let me know for any further assignment

Gireesh

Oh thank you!

You are right - we use a express setup

There is no words about this limitation in manual

Thank you again!

Just ran into this problem at a customer site. "Express" was accidentally chosen when OnCommand Core was installed.

The easiest fix is to run the installer again. It will ask if you want to update the existing database - just say "Yes".

Then, during the run of the installer, be sure to select "Standard" and not "Express".

It is OK if you are run the installer again, even if the installer is exactly the same version as the version of OnCommand that is already installed. (We verified this to be true with 5.1.X).
