Can ontap edge support 10GbE interfaces via vmxnet3 driver?

Basically trying to put ONTAP Edge through it's paces.

I noticed when you deploy the ontap edge it defaults to 4x 1GbE interfaces using the e1000 driver.

Is it possible to reconfigure ontap edge with vnxnet3 network interfaces to leverage 10GbE?

Thanks

Adam,

Only the e1000 driver is supported.  The paravirtual devices are not supported on Data ONTAP Edge.

Thanks,

Why?

Being a VMware performance guy, there is benefit to leveraging vmxnet3 (and pvsci for that matter) for IO efficiency.  Is it just because the Edge VSA OS cannot support it (I get not all things are linux based)?  Plans on day?

Thnx
