Good day i have a filler with two nodes 001 and 002.

001 has some hardware issues, therefore was taken over by 002, im trying to copy its volumes to 002 but it fails with socket error bellow, ssh access not possible as well.

from bellow, im at s002, tryng to copy temp volume from s001, which ahs been taken over by s002. Any solutions for me to get these volumes out...

s002(takeover)> vol copy start s001:/vol/temp temp_tst

This can be a long-running operation. Use Control - C (^C) to interrupt.

Copy Volume: /vol/temp on machine s001 to Volume: temp_tst

VOLCOPY: Error: Read Socket received EOF.

VOLCOPY: Cannot Init Input, aborting

s002(takeover)>

So during takeover you're trying to copy a volume from an aggr owned by 002 to an aggr owned by 001?

Hi thanks for your reply...

the aggr is on s001 which has been taken over by 002, i want to copy it from 001 to 002.

But i have found a solution through "partner" command. Im able to goto the other node shell, through node 2.

Then i can copy the data successfully woth ndmpcopy and vol copy....

Thanks for the support...
