FilerView not accessible on DataOntap 8.1.R3 7mode on fas2040 ( IBM N3400)

Hi everyone,

I recently upgrade our filer from dataontap 7.3.6 to 8.1.R3. after upgrade i checked i can't access FilerView. I am not sure can i access before upgrade.

when i list under http folder it's looking empty. i downloaded again ontap 8.1.R3 but nothing changed.

here is outputs;

Hi, Sorry but until the 8.1 the FilerView is deprecated,

you can download the onCommand System manager to manager your NSerie

Thanks Cedric, I already using ssh and system manager for manage my filer. but some settings ( like nfs permission and config) Filerview is really helpful.

Right, but system manager has easier work-flows and  much better manageability. Filer view is out dated. To add to it, you can manage multiple (c-mode as well as 7-mode) systems through system manager.

Yeah, system manager much more capabilities than filler view, but on client must be installation the program. different with filer view, after installation, customer just point ip address to the web browser to manage it, little easy...:). Some time system manager very slow too  . better using command line for geek user...
