Remove old smtape snapmirror from snapmirror status

I have a couple of smtape jobs that failed from a tape drive outage I can't seem to get rid of them out of snapmirror status.

They don't seem to have snapshots living on the source and there nothing in snapmirror.conf.

Successful jobs can be removed by just deleting the base snapshot, but this dosen't work with the failed ones.

Snapmirror status -l shows a state of source.

Cheers

double check snapshots again.. if not there and no snapmirror.conf, it likely is in the registry "state.snapmirror.status..." entry, but you need to check with support to confirm that is the issue.  The BURT that covers that issue where snapmirror status shows a relationship that doesn't exist, isn't in a snap, isn't in snapmirror.conf is BURT 195220.  If you hit this BURT, you can work with support through the instructions in the BURT.  Or upgrade to an ONTAP version where it is fixed.

Looks like its a bit of slash and burn registry editing coming up.

Interesting enough the burt has this as fixed in 8.0.1p4 but thats what created them. I don't have the reboot cycle issue thou so maybe that was what was fixed.

Try snapmirror release <source> <destination>

snapmirror release <volume_name> snapmirror_tape_date_time
