Snapmirror throttle changes after baseline starts

Hi,

Environment: clustered ontap 8.3RC2

I am setting up snapmirror from my 7 mode filer to clustered ontap. I had throttle set to a low value initially and started the baseline transfer. Before the baseline finishes, I realize I should have set to a much higher value so I set it to a much higher value. It does not seeem to be much faster though. Does changing throttle value after starting initial transfer take effect immediately?

Thanks,

We do an abort of Snapmirror transfer during Baseline transfer and initialize again. It continues using the new throttle with last checkpoint.

Achou -

Per another recent post here on the community -

No, the new setting won't take effect untill the next transfer...

Yes. I had to do the same to tell it to pick up the new settings.

Thank you!
