does anyone have experience with a netapp dedup on a large sharepoint database?

Abrar Y from the Microsoft Alliances team is presently working on finalizing a TR that talks about the different performance aspects of deduping SharePoint databases. This paper will be published soon on NetApp library and be available for public consumption.

The environment I setup to test Deduplication on SharePoint Content Database , I got space saving of 31%.

Database size for test were 15GB,50GB ,95GB.

I strongly feel space saving will vary depending upon the database content on the dataset.
