snapmirror throttle, how can I verify it is used ?

I would like to verify that the throttle setting in snapmirror.conf is being honored.

How can I do this ?

I don't see any indication in the snapmirror log on the mirror destination filer nor in the

output of snapmirror status.

Thanks,

"snapmirror status -l" will give the duration and amount of data to calculate the kb/sec throughput of the last transfer.

Agree with this from "scottgrlb", another way would be to check your bandwidth reports on your ADSL/firewall equipment and see the bandwidth that the NetApp filer is using on the link at specific times.

"If you would like to ensure that your transfer limitations are being adhered to, you can use the netstat -na command and see the individual transfers running over port 10566."

hope this helps!
