Hello

I just finish  new AFF a220 setup which is attached to our Cisco MDS 9148 to and I can not get a link between the two.

I've configured both sides of FC and matched the speed. (8Gb) I must be missing something in between that I can't figure out.

This is the setting/config for one of the connections SAN side:

Note : There is just something strange that the Physical Protocol: ethernet !!

Thank you for the clarification ,, I changed the mode to the fc for all adapter i need it as shown

fcp adapter modify -node CTRA-01 -adapter 0c -status-admin down

modify -node CTR-01 -adapter 0c -m fc

also i do  the same for the node B

seems to me everything went well.

thanks

No problem.  Be sure to also do takeovers on each node to set the change.    And verify that each port is FC/target.
