CIFS Share Security?

I had a CIFS share setup that allowed me and a select group of users to use. We had full control in the permissions tab, then all of the sudden we were only able to perform read only functions in the share despite having full control set in the Filer and in the Windows Security Permissions tab. Not sure what could be causing this, I deleted the share and volume and made a new share and volume.

Now I have myself and the users given full control from the filer, but I can no longer access the Windows Security tab to set folder permissions. And even with full control given to me from the filer, I still cant create or do anything in the new share.

Ideas?

Permissions had been set to UNIX by accident. Changed permissions back to NTFS, and now everything works fine.
