CIFS Version verification

Would you please share your way to verify CIFS version in DOT 8.1?

Use the IMT and CIFS Matrix at http://support.netapp.com/matrix#   Also the release notes give info on the SMB versions.  ONTAP 8.1 supports SMB 2 (but you have to enable it).. 8.1.1 added SMB 2.1 support for both 7-mode and Cluster-Mode.
