Hi,

We need volumes which are greater tehn 12TB  for our applications. Did anyone achieve this with any third party applications.

NetApp Virtual File Manager (VFM) or even Widelinks to create a namespace (if CIFS) works... it won't get you one big directory over 12TB usable but most of our customers who think they need a 100TB mount point can easily have 10x 10TB volumes on the backend as long as each show under the same directory structure... use DFS or widelinks to create a root namespace then stitch the volumes wherever you want.. none of the buckets will hold over 10-12TB usable but the top level will be a large mount point.  If you need a 100TB directory (ouch) then other customers of ours have Acopia which splits writes by files across multiple volumes without going to GX.

Scott,

Thank you for suggestions. We are looking for using it for NFS environment. How well does acopia work with NFS environment.
