CIFS Signing option

Will there be any impact to the pre-isting CIFS sessions when turned on the 'cifs.signing.enable' option?

Hi Terrence,

Did you mean 'pre-existing sessions'?

SMB signing is used if both sides support it & client side requests it when the session is established. So enabling it on the filer should have any effect on new sessions only.
