Applying QoS Policy Group using System Manager 3.1 Workflow

Starting with clustered Data ONTAP 8.2, you can use Storage Quality of Service also known as QoS policy groups to manage the workload (input/output operations) of storage objects. Using System Manager 3.1, you can assign a QoS policy group to FlexVol volumes or LUNs.This  document illustrates with an example, System Manager 3.1 workflow to create a QoS policy group, assign multiple storage objects to the QoS policy group, and then remove storage objects from the QoS policy group.
