OnCommand Storage Management Software Articles and Resources

Command Example: Check for Array license

This command checks if a license is installed on a Storrage Array. This can be useful if you want to check for protocol availability before running a workflow (e.g. check if fcp is licensed before creating a FCP LUN). The command simply stops the workflow with an error if the requested license is not installed, so it is best to make this the first command in a workflow.

Input parameters

  • Array name or IP address
  • License name (as used in Ontap, e.g. iscsi, fcp, nfs)
