Hello all,
I would like to test a situation, when Volumes on snapmirrored SVMs are out of sync and ontap will generate an event sm.syncmirror.out.of.sync, which should trigger the smSyncOutOfSyncWarn SNMP trap.
I suppose, that disabling of the intercluster LIFs and then any change on the primary Volumes will cause this event.
But is there any other option, How can I achieve the generation of the sm.syncmirror.out.of.sync event ?
Test environment:
2x FAS8020 with Ontap 9.1P2

Hi
for just to check the trap you can use the "event generate -message-name..." command available in the diag mode (set diag)
