Order SFP's for 10Gig E cards?

I am trying to confirm that theX1008A-R6 has an integrated SFP so I don’t need to included one?

I want to configure a solution with a Cisco Nexxus switch and use less expensive, top or rack 5000 switches but can’t use a copper 10GB solution from what I can see on the 3140A product.

Yes, the 10g SFP's come with the cards. SFP's come with every type of HBA.

They don't come with the 10GbE Unified Target Adapter (X1140A-R6-C ADPT 2-Pt Unified Target Cu 10GbE SFP+PCIe). You need to order the cable that comes with the SFP+ attached at the end. I wish there was a working link that showed all of NetApp 10GbE cards with SFP+ cable options.

Hi,  My name is Trey.  I am a Consulting Systems Engineer at NetApp focused on Ethernet Storage Technologies.   The X1008 actually has the optics included within the card.   I have actually detailed all of our 10Gbps Card options in this post here.

If you are buying or have bought the X1008 you only need an LC fiber cable to whatever type fiber interface you have on the patch panel or switch.
