Question about command "stats show -p flexscale"

I ran this command in CLI, "stats show -p flexscale",

the first line of response was ext_cache:state-string:Initialized

In some guides, I saw the state-string was active.

Whether it means PAM is unavailable in my environment?

Thanks!

did you enable pcs in options.flexscale ?  What are your filer model and ontap version?

Hi evilensky,

Thanks for your response. My filer module is 3140 and ontap is 7.3.1.1.

I just want to verify whether the PAM card was enabled in my system, since I see the following response.

ext_cache_obj:ec0:type:PCS

Thanks!

Flash Cache (PAM II) is enabled via

options flexscale.enable on

If proper hardware is present, check the status of that option.
