SNMPv3 vs Cluster Console

Hi all

I am experimenting with SNMPv3 for managing NetApp storage controllers from Operations Manager. I have enabled SNMPv3 on one controller using the instructions from here http://communities.netapp.com/docs/DOC-9314

Everything seems to be working in Operations Manager except the Cluster Console feature which shows members of an active-active pair. The controller with SNMPv3 enabled is listed as "<controller> state unknown. Check that SNMP is enabled on the storage system. Run 'dfm host diag' to identify the problem. Cluster enabled, <partner> is up." The controller icon is a white box with a question mark rather than a toaster as expected.

dfm host diag indicates everything is OK and using SNMPv3. As soon as I change the Preffered SNMP Version for this controller back to SNMPv1 it shows up normally again in the Cluster Console but I can't figure out how to make it visible with SNMPv3 enabled. Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanks

Adam

Did you try it on both the controllers ? Looks more like bug.

BTW do you use the cluster console feature ?

Nope just one so far.

I haven't needed to yet but if it's there I figure it should work properly.
