AltaVault file size limit

I'm looking into configuring vsi AltaVault for testing but was wondering if there is a file size limit.  Object storage S3 is 5gb file size limit.

I'm not sure I understand the question - are you configuring a virtual AltaVault and had a question on the file size limit of what AltaVault sends to S3? You may want to review this technical overview guide here and see if that answers your questions:
