New to NetApp snapshots -- How can I mount a snapshot lvm's filesystems onto HP-UX

I am creating daily snapshots on HP-UX 11.31.  I would like to mount the snapshot on the server where the LUN is mounted and copy the data to another server.  How can I mount this snapshot using HP-UX LVM?

Have a look in the NetApp Documentation "Block Access Management Guide for iSCSI and FC" on page 192 and onwards.

Thanks for your input, but is there documentation that is actually usable pertaining to HP-UX?

These commands on p 193 do not exist in my installation of Snapdrive 4.2 for HP-UX ---

2. Create a Snapshot copy by entering the following command:

snap create volume_name snapshot_name

Example

snap create vol1 payroll_backup

3. To create a clone of the production LUN, enter the following command:

lun clone create clone_lunpath -b parent_lunpath parent_snap

Example

lun clone create /vol/vol1/qtree_1/payroll_lun_clone -b /vol/vol1/

qtree_1/payroll_lun payroll_backup

4. Create an igroup that includes the WWPN of the backup server by entering the following

command:

igroup create -f-t ostype group
