Sorry SnapProtect for Hyper-v on clustered OnTap with SMB3 is not supported yet, but I'm told it is on it's way.

SnapProtect SMB3 libaries are apparently supported or SnapDrive with SMB3 but not Hyper-V cluster backups on SMB3

Hey Frank, just thought I would update anyone on this one with the same issues V10 SP11 is now out and supports SMB3 Hyper-V. YEY!

Did you install the VSS Hardware Provider on the Hyper-V hosts? There's two. There's a VSS Provider, and a VSS Hardware Provider. I had to install the VSS Hardware Provider to get backups working on Hyper-V in my environment.
