Hi,

I am able to provision the storage using snapdrive for solaris with solairs volume manager.  But, i am not able to see the disk groups with "metastat" command on the host side.

When i try to expand or resize the LUN using the snapdrive it is not getting reflected on the solaris host.

Question No1: How to increase the size on the solaris host side using Solaris Volume Manager?

Question No 2: why metastat command is not able to detect the disk group created by snapdrive?

metastat is used to display the host volumes on the diskgroup. metset -s <setname> should show you the diskgroup information. Have you tried a snapdrive storage show -all . Does the resize comannd successfulIy complete ?  send us the dc ouput and i will take a look at  it.
