On March 13 2018, the NetApp Certification Data Administrator, ONTAP (NS0-159) exam became available. The NS0-159 exam focuses on ONTAP 9.3 technology, providing NetApp technical professionals with an NCDA certification based on the most current NetApp technology.
Candidates will now be required to pass the NS0-159 exam to achieve the NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP (NCDA ONTAP) credential. Key dates:
- March 13, 2018: Registration opens for NS0-159 through Pearson VUE (www.pearsonvue.com/netapp)
- April 30, 2018: Final day of registration for NS0-158, and final day that candidates can take the NS0-158 exam.
Candidates currently registered to take the NS0-158 exam after April 30, will be contacted by Pearson VUE to discuss their options for taking the NCDA ONTAP exam:

Important information:
- NetApp certified professionals that hold an active NCDA ONTAP credential do not need to take the new exam. The current certification remains active until it expires.
- This change does not impact partner compliance status.
- Neither the logo nor the digital badge will change. Certified professionals can access logos and digital badges for certifications through CertCenter.
