Is there any way to account for 8.3's ADP in Synergy? I was trying to configure sizing for a customer, but Synergy seems to still be wanting dedicated root aggrs.
Synergy 6 Beta is ADP-aware - although the way it works at the moment is far from being perfect in my view.

The ONTAP maximum file limits is lesser than the maximum possible number of files supported by ONTAP for a volume. This video explains the reason why ONTAP has this lower limit on the file count.
