Flash Cache not supported in the FAS/V3210 with 8.1?

Just came across mention that Flash Cache is not supported with the 3210 and 8.1 (footnote 4):

http://www.netapp.com/us/products/storage-systems/flash-cache/flash-cache-tech-specs.html

Has anyone heard why that is? This is very concerning as it seems to suggest that 8.0.2 is the end of the road for us if we wish to continue use of our Flash Cache. I'm finding it hard to believe that this is the case on a system that's only been out for a year and in a system in which Flash Cache was strongly encouraged.

Both 3140 and 3210. Systems with 4gb ram. There is a bug and 8.1 wont recognize the card in these systems. Hopefully 8.1ga or 8.1.1 has a fix. We are using 3240 whenever possible.
