Hello all,

First of all, sorry if this question have been answered yet, but I don't find any documentation related to this.

We have a FAS2552 dual-controller system on HA, with no exteranl storage. The SAS cabling seems to be wrong from the beginning of the storage setup.
One SAS cable is connected from 0a of one controller to 0a of the other controller. The other SAS cable is connected from 0b of one controller to 0b of the other controller.

Recently got a message said:
HA Group Notification from FAS2552-1 (HOST_PORT_FAIL - Disabled by IOM) WARNING
One link of sas cabling between 0b to 0b of the two controllers seems to be disabled by IOM.

Then got a message said:
HA Group Notification from FAS2552-1 (HA GROUP ERROR: DISK/SHELF COUNT MISMATCH) ERROR

Controller FAS2552-1 is unable to recognize one disk. But Controller FAS2552-2 is able to recognize the so-called missing disk.

FAS2552-1 is missing the 0a.00.9

We want to recabling the system, connecting the to 0a & 0b port in the right way(as is described in Universal SAS Cabling document).
My question is, can we reconnect SAS cable from 0b to 1b port without disruption?

Thanks in advance to all,

Yes, see KB article on NSS: How to correct ACP partial connectivity and Single Path HA on a FAS22xx platform

You can fix the cabling to be 0a -> 0b and 0b -> 0a, as well as add an Ethernet cable for ACP between the e0P ports.  There will not be any disruption.
