Hello I have a device that belongs to ONTAP 8.2.5. I can't activate my existing licenses after a device reset. The source of my problem is that I have a 7-character license. But my device's version supports it based on 28 characters. My current licenses are due to the fact that they are compatible with the old version. Error alert I'm encountering hostname> license add XXXXXXX license add: invalid license key "XXXXXXX", license keys must be 28 or 42 letters in length. I get a warning in the form of. Just wondering. When you install a PCI card having multiple ports, depending on the location within the controller, the ports are in the order from left to right or from right to left. Is there an easy way which of both is the right one. Sometimes ports are numbered, sometimes not.... That makes it hard not to make mistakes when cabling the solution.... I know in the GUI there is a view where you can find it. But that is when installation is done. On the other hande, for a metrocluster the iwarp card is not visible this way... so the challenge is there... ... View more
