dropped camera records because of one disk error?


Hi, one customer has 2 FAS8080, clustered, more or less 400 disks, 15 servers connect the storage via CIFS share.  Each server has 40-50 cameras recording data to netapp. 


We had one issue that one disk error caused drops in camera records more or less 20 minutes in some servers. Netapp technical support explored this situation and said "one disk error is the reason for camera record problem" every disk eror happen again, we can see this situation again. This is common. " 


Is this explanation is acceptable ?





That sounds a bit like BURT 861798.  If so, some code updates are in order.
