Can somebody please share your experience on using these two monitoring tools? any pros and cons? Is there general sense of which one is better?

The SCOM MP is a bit slow, and take long time to discover objects (sometimes hours, depend on the interval configured). I think OCUM should be kept as the main tool for the ONTAP monitoring. We had some extensive 1st line processes around SCOM alerts in a company I worked for. And we still decided to invest in integrating OCUM with our ticketing system as well (SCSM).
