To suspend snapmirror in the middle of initialization

Hi,

I want to know snapmirror command option "initialize" and  "abort" behavior.

When I issued snapmirror initizalize -S <sorce> <dest>, then before completing initialization, run snapmirror abort <dest>. Then run snapmirror initizalize -S <sorce> <dest> again, the snapmirror initialization will start where it stoped by abort command? Or the snapmirror initialization will start from the scratch?

I have a large volumes to replicate. I have started initialization but for some issue, I want to suspend the snapmirror for a short time and resume from where it stopped.

If once abort the snapmirror, it will start from the beginning, I don't want to abort because it will take 10day or so to complete. I've already ran for 5days.

Thank you foryour help in advance.

Mariko

Checkpoint is also available in initialization. Aborted initialization without "-h" option will be resumed from last checkpoint.
