VSC runs backup job, although it was already deleted

Hello at all,

we are using VSC 6.0 with VCenter 5.5 and WebClient 5.5.. During the migrating to our new storage, we changed the VSC backup-jobs too. Now I´m still getting a mail-message from a specific backup-job, which was already deleted.

The log says:

2015-10-09 11:00:01,778 PROGRESS - Starting backup request
2015-10-09 11:00:01,905 INFO - Generating backupName for the scheduleJob ccc2afd9-7ced-4cc0-b380-3e66ba4f35aa is backup_DS-Datastore-11am_20151009110001

2015-10-09 11:00:03,274 PROGRESS - Sent status notification message to [mail@organisation.mail]
2015-10-09 11:00:03,278 PROGRESS - Storing logs for backup_DS-Datastore-11am_20151009110001 in file .\repository\logs\ccc2afd9-7ced-4cc0-b380-3e66ba4f35aa\backup_backup_DS-Datastore-11am_20151009110001.xml

The problem is not, that the job fails, it shouldn´t even run, because there is no job defined (at least not in the GUI).

Are there any other spots, where I can look for backup jobs defined? CLI?

Best regards,

Daniel

Check if schedulesBackups.xml placed as below has any corresponding backupJob definition.

%INSTALL%\netapp\Virtual Storage Console\smvi\server\repository\scheduledBackups.xml

If it has, stop "NetApp SnapManager for Virtual Infrastructure" service, keep backup of this file,  and edit it. Do not use notepad to edit. Use wordpad, or any other editor.

you may also need to edit backups.xml if it contains backups of deleted jobs.
