There is absolutely no change. Working on Windows 2008/WFA4.1. Fails on Windows 2016/WFA5.0 The only difference is that on WFA4.1, the credentials for the user ID used for "WFA-Loopback" is does not require special character while WFA5.0 requires special character. Is this workflow working for anyone on WFA5.0?

Fails with following error Request failed: Exception calling "GetResponse" with "0" argument(s): "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized." Location: Row '1' step 'Invoke WFA Workflow'. The value for "Credentials" parameter is "WFA-Loopback". It works in 4.1 but fails in WFA 5. I changed the password also but that didn't resolved the issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, cifs_share.name is getting cached after one cycle of data acquisition. But my question is about the period from the time workflow is executed till the next execution cycle. Is there any way to have cifs_share.name in "Reservations" ? I'm developing a workflow where I choose an SVM where cifs share will be created. One of my filters is to pick an SVM where this share doesn't exists (customer may request to create multiple shares (one share request per workflow) with same name and they should go on different SVM's). I’m working on creating a workflow to build SVM in our environment (by modifying "Create and configure NAS Storage Virtual Machine" certified workflow) and I have a quick question Some of clusters are two nodes, some are four nodes and some (in future may be six or eight nodes). When we create SVM, we create one data LIF for each node. How would I prompt the user to enter LIF information (names, IP, gateway, netmask, etc) ? I mean, is there any way so that wfa will prompt user to enter LIF information as many times as the number of nodes in the cluster ? e.g. for a two nodes cluster, WFA should prompt LIF information two times (one for each node) and for a four node cluster, WFA should prompt LIF information four times (again, one for each node). So, based on the cluster selected from the dropdown menu, the “FORM” would change. Thanks !

I think I found the reason. There must be some special character (or the way I saved quotas file by using wrfile for the first qtree) caused the quotas file mess up while creating second qtree in that vFiler.

WFA 2.1RC1, Certified command "Create qtree" failed with error error -2059898879 writing to temp file. And quotas file on vFiler also got messed up. Vinith, Thanks for reply but Show-NaHelp doesn't say if "Connect-NaController VirtualFilerName" is even a valid command. The script is for end user who only know vFiler name. If "Connect-NaController VirtualFilerName" is valid then we don't have to query DFM to get the PhysicalFiler Name.

Hello! I'm new to powershell. I need to write a script to capture information from vFilers (7-Mode, ONTAP 7.3.x and 8.x) Wondering what is the correct way to connect vFiler ? Connect-NaController PhysicalFilerName -vFiler VirtualFilerName or Connect-NaController VirtualFilerName I get the same results with both of these commands when I query any of vFiler in our environment. What is the technical difference between these two commands and in which situation one would not work ? Is there any documentation that I can refer to ? Thanks!

How do we pass on a value back to HPOO ? Let’s say, In a custom command, I increased quotas of qtree. After increasing quota, I can get the new qtree size $DiskLimitCurrent = (Get-NaQuota -Path $QtreePath).DiskLimit/1024/1024/1024 How do I send it back to HPOO? For the variables that are defined and updated in WFA cache (SQL DB), I’m able to send those variables back to HPOO.

One of the prerequisite for WFA2.1RC1 is to install Powershell 2.2.0. Could someone please post the link to download, installation instructions and how to verify that PS 2.2.0 is installed (Windows 2008 R2). There is PS 2.2.1 also available. Would it be advisable to install 2.2.1 ? Thanks!
